DogWorld’s mission was to create an off-leash paradise for dogs and their owners to safely play together and socialize. We found that most public dog parks were small, crowded space with no way to know if other dogs were vaccinated or friendly so we created a park where we could ensure all dogs were vaccinated and temperament screened.
Our 16-acre property provides a pond, two baby pools, an Olympic size swimming pool, and two water slides for swimming; acres and acres of fenced open fields to run; and an obstacle course to master.
Our check-in and software systems ensure that any dog entering the park is current on their vaccinations. Our temperament screening gives us an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with another dog prior to entering the park. During screening we assign a color-coded tag to give a visible indicator to others of your dogs’ temperament and play style. Our color code system allows you to know at a glance the personalities of the dogs around you and engage or move on accordingly. You can view our temperament color chart below.
Just like humans, dogs have different temperaments. Some are outgoing, some are shy, some prefer to keep to themselves while others love to chase and wrestle. No temperament is better or worse than the other.
Park rules have been carefully considered and specifically created to ensure a peaceful environment. We invite and encourage you to ask if you don’t understand why certain rules are in place. We know that we can’t prevent all issues, but we strive to create an environment that will set you and your dog up for success!
Creating a healthy envrionment for dogs means that we are here to help their humans understand dog play dynamics and body language. We seek to educate our guests on dog behavior and encourage them to ask staff members any questions. Educated owners and well trained dogs make for a happy park!
Socialization, exercise, and training are key to your dogs’ happiness – and yours! Let’s play!
